Prep-E-Prints ("Prep-E-Prints," "we," "our," or "us") respects the privacy of our users and is committed to protecting personal information, particularly information relating to children.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected when you use the Prep-E-Prints mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Information About Children
Prep-E-Prints provides educational experiences for users of different ages, including children.
We recognize that children's personal information requires additional protection. Where required by applicable law, Prep-E-Prints seeks appropriate parental or legal guardian authorization before allowing a child to use features involving the collection, use, or disclosure of personal information.
Age or date-of-birth information may be used to determine the appropriate account experience, parental requirements, content experience, purchasing restrictions, safety features, and other age-related functionality.
Eligible child accounts may be linked to a parent or legal guardian account. Depending on the features available, the linked parent or guardian may be able to view information concerning the child's account, learning activity, progress, and interactions with certain features of Prep-E-Prints, including AI-powered features.
We do not knowingly require a child to provide more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in an activity.
3. Parental Consent
When parental consent is legally required, Prep-E-Prints may restrict the child's account or certain features until the required parental or guardian authorization has been completed.
Parents or guardians may be provided information describing:

Why the information is collected;
How the information will be used;
Whether and why information must be provided to service providers;
How the parent or guardian can provide consent; and
How consent may later be withdrawn.

Subject to applicable law and appropriate verification, a parent or legal guardian may request to review personal information collected from their child, correct certain inaccurate information, request deletion of their child's personal information, withdraw previously provided consent, refuse further collection or use of their child's personal information, or request information about our practices concerning their child's information.
For eligible parent-linked child accounts, Prep-E-Prints may also provide parents or legal guardians with in-app tools allowing them to view certain account activity, learning progress, AI interactions, conversation history, and safety-related information associated with their child's account.
We may take reasonable steps to verify that a person requesting access to a child's information is the child's parent or legal guardian before providing access to or modifying or deleting the information.

We may use information to:
Create and maintain accounts;
Establish parent-child account relationships;
Determine age-appropriate experiences;
Provide lessons and educational experiences;
Save learning progress;
Personalize portions of the Service;
Provide interactive and AI-powered features;
Provide audio and other application functionality;
Verify purchases and provide purchased content;
Provide customer support;
Protect users and the security of the Service;
Detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity;
Diagnose technical problems;
Maintain and improve the Service;
Comply with applicable law; and
Enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not use children's personal information for purposes unrelated to providing and protecting the Service unless permitted by applicable law and, where required, authorized by a parent or guardian.
6. Artificial Intelligence
Prep-E-Prints uses artificial intelligence and automated technologies to provide interactive educational experiences, personalized responses, explanations, conversations, and other features.
When a user interacts with an AI-powered feature, Prep-E-Prints may process information such as the user's prompt or message, AI-generated responses, conversation history, relevant lesson or account context, and other information reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the feature.
AI functionality is available to users of different ages, and the privacy controls applicable to an interaction may depend on the user's account type and age.
For eligible child accounts linked to a parent or legal guardian, certain AI interactions or conversation history may be made available to the linked parent or guardian as part of Prep-E-Prints' parental visibility and safety features.
Information necessary to provide AI functionality may be processed by third-party service providers acting on our behalf. We seek to limit information transmitted to such systems to information reasonably necessary to provide the applicable functionality.
Users should avoid providing unnecessary sensitive personal information through AI conversations or other free-text features.
AI interactions are also subject to the limitations and disclaimers contained in our Terms of Service.
7. Audio and Voice Services
Prep-E-Prints may use audio, narration, text-to-speech, or related technologies as part of its educational experiences.
Where audio is generated from text rather than a user's recorded voice, the applicable text may be processed as necessary to provide the audio functionality.
If Prep-E-Prints introduces features that collect or transmit users' voice recordings, we will update our disclosures and obtain consent where required before using those features.
8. Sign-In Services
Prep-E-Prints may permit users to authenticate using supported third-party sign-in services, such as Apple or Google.
When these services are used, we may receive information necessary to authenticate and maintain the user's account, subject to the user's selections and the provider's policies.
Prep-E-Prints does not receive a user's Apple or Google account password.
9. Purchases and Payment Information
Purchases made through the mobile application may be processed by the applicable app marketplace, such as Apple's App Store or Google Play.
Prep-E-Prints may receive information necessary to verify a transaction and determine which content or entitlement an account has purchased.
We do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers for transactions processed entirely by those app marketplaces.
The payment provider's own privacy practices also apply to information it processes.

We may provide limited information to service providers when reasonably necessary for them to perform services on our behalf.
These services may include:
Cloud hosting and infrastructure;
Authentication;
Artificial-intelligence processing;
Audio or text-to-speech functionality;
Payment and purchase verification;

Other technical services required to operate Prep-E-Prints.
We seek to provide service providers only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant function.
Service providers may process information subject to their contractual obligations and applicable law.

Who This Privacy Policy Applies To
Prep-E-Prints provides Bible-based educational experiences for children, teenagers, and adults. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of Prep-E-Prints.
Certain privacy practices differ depending on a user's age. Child accounts may include parental consent requirements, parent-linked features, parental visibility, purchasing restrictions, and additional safety protections. Teen and adult accounts may have different privacy and account controls.

Users may request deletion of eligible account information.
Parents and legal guardians may also request deletion of personal information associated with their children, subject to reasonable verification of the requesting person's authority.

Certain information may need to be retained when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or protect the security of the Service.

For child accounts, Prep-E-Prints may provide a linked parent or legal guardian with access to certain activity associated with their child's account, including interactions with AI-powered features and conversation history.
Prep-E-Prints may also use automated systems to analyze interactions for potential safety concerns, including content that may indicate self-harm, threats of violence, abuse, exploitation, or other serious risks to a child's safety or well-being.
When our systems identify content that meets applicable safety criteria, Prep-E-Prints may provide a safety notification or other information to the linked parent or guardian.
These safety features are intended to assist parents and guardians and are not emergency monitoring, crisis intervention, medical care, mental health treatment, or a guarantee that harmful or concerning content will be detected. Automated systems may fail to identify concerning content or may incorrectly identify content as concerning.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their child's use of the Service and responding appropriately to concerns regarding their child's safety or well-being.
